Get TLM

Your Workspace

You manage your terminology in a web application that is available on the web or intranet. The basis is an ontology that defines the grammar for your term structure. To start with, you get the terminology base schema, which you adapt and extend according to your needs - with or without our support. Based on this, you and your team create terminology entries that are managed in a library - folder structure. A terminology entry is basically mapped in a tree structure, so you can clearly see how it is structured: term - base language - terms - target language - terms. You want to present your terminology entry differently? No problem. With our support or even an intensive training, you can build your own display - using the integrated ONTOLIS GUI configuration. Your workspace also offers multiple searches available by role, a voting area, and various optional views for term networks. TLM is powerful. However, standard users only see a fraction of it, so ONTOLIS can be extremely lean.

Free entry structure

Define the structure of your terminology entry according to your needs. Define at which level (term, language, naming) you need which fields and whether they are mandatory. You define the underlying grammar.

Integrated voting process

Tune your terminology internally. Use comments, ratings and suggestions. As a terminology manager, you end up adopting the suggestions you want or rejecting the entire entry.

Export of terminology

Use your terminology in other systems: Language check in Authoring Cockpit, input for translations, company-wide announcement. TLM allows export formats like tbx and csv. Configure and use other formats with open interface configuration.

Your benefits

ONTOLIS allows you a free entry structure. Define how a terminology entry is structured according to your needs. ONTOLIS provides you with the basis: concept, language, term(s) - concept-oriented and term autonomous. Add necessary fields on all levels. These are properties that you can set as mandatory fields, read-only fields or inherited fields.

Use an integrated voting process directly in your tool. Eliminate annoying email notifications and don't spam the Terminology Circle inboxes any further. You can see current votes at a glance. Suggestions, comments and ratings enable efficient voting. The voting aspects - e.g. definition, naming or properties, you can define individually or use templates. All participants have to act by the set deadline. This is made possible by branching: per participant:in a branch. In the end, you as the responsible:r merge what you need!

Use the dashboard to have exactly the information and news you and your team need at hand at any time. New terminology entries, new votes or changes to the erminology inventory find their place right here. Functions such as "New term entry", "Show current votes", "Start Excport" or "Prepare import" are just right here.
