Create a 1:1 image of your metadata world. The data shadow of your metadata can be used in many ways once it is defined, modelled and visualized.
The ONTOLIS solution for metadata management is available as a metadata platform and as a pure COde component for the extension of a metadata platform. The metadata platform Meta Service consists of a web-based editor and a database. The metadata is maintained in the CMS and configured in Meta Service. The Meta Service Extensions is implemented as a pure code component and also requires the functionality of Meta Service for optimal use and exploitation of its full potential. With Meta Service you classify your metadata and map your CMS objects and your MS classes. For complex validity statements you manage rules and use the validities in the CMS. Everything you do in the Meta Service web application you can use in your CMS. Document structures can also be filtered based on rules, so that document variants can also be part of your daily routine. In order to use your meta data further and to gain benefit from it, you can process it with ONTOLIS MSx and display it. In addition MSx offers an interface, in order to supply e.g. a CDP.
Classify your CMS objects and create a mapping between your CMS classes and the meta service classes. Use the classification for searching in your CMS.
The rich metadata classification from MS can be used in various ways. For example, CMS internal search can be extended with search facets and similarity search. Another possibility is rule-based creation of document variants and document structures.
Meta Service can import validity statements from CMS and create more complex validity statements and conditions based on them. Managing these rules is easy and clear with the help of visualization of rules in MS.
Create a 1:1 image of your metadata world. The data shadow of your metadata can be used in many ways once it is defined, modelled and visualized.
Create rules based on your metadata to filter content so that it can be found by defined filters in a search.
Once your metadata is modelled, you can always let it continue to work. Enable new interfaces and enrich other systems with your metadata.
